The Secret of Fishing Line -- Introduction

Here we are going to talk about the significant element between fisherman and fish -- Fishing Line. Basically, modern fishing line can be classified into two categories, Monofilament line and Multifilament line. The former has included each kind of Nylon line and Fluorocarbon line, the state is the explicit independent fine lace; the latter refers to each on of fusion line, such as various Anti-bite line, Braided line, Fire line, and Spider line. Those are made of many thin strings by braiding, binding with heat, or coating with other material. Here are most common types of fishing line on the market.
  • Nylon Line

At present we see the nylon line, most of the various co-polymer line, for the fishing people most often use it. The characteristic is high for the ductility and transparent. There would be a full cushion when you catch fishes and reduce oversized raises the bamboo pole strength and fish's momentum.   • Fluorocarbon Line
It is made up Resin by content chemical element Fluorine and Carbon. The line material is tougher and harder, the transparency equally with the nylon. The anti-chemical agent and oxidation resistance ability is greatly strengthened; however, the ductility is low. Because of the characteristic, wear-resisting, most before wire uses this kind of line. In particular when the main line is for Fire line, due to the Fire line not wear-resisting easy to break, it matches this kind of line to use for the leader.
  • Braided Line

The braided line in modern fishing community holds the pivotal status. This type of fishing line consists of many extremely thin fibres mixed. The basic construction is mostly the same, except for minor differences the characteristic which flaunted is also similar, like extremely low strain, superelevated strength, very soft and so on. Therefore, it becomes the ideal line for the very long main line to fish (e.g. deep-sea vessel fishing).

The primary cause of the difference of each kind of braided line performance lies in its institute to use the textile fiber material quality and the line body structure first. At present the most important braided line material has two kinds: Dyneema and Kevlar.
